Review and manage a meeting's AI summary and transcript, then search, export, retranscribe, and adjust preferences.
Meeting workspace
Every recorded or imported meeting opens in a workspace with two content tabs: AI Summary and Transcript. Preferences is a separate view opened with the sliders control.
The meeting-wide controls remain available in the top bar while you review the meeting.
Quick Start
Select a meeting in the sidebar to open its workspace.
Review the AI Summary or switch to Transcript for the timestamped spoken text.
Use the top-bar controls to search, export, open the meeting folder, or open Preferences.
Content navigation
The AI Summary view contains the editable summary. Its actions include Copy, AI Provider settings, Generate Summary or Re-generate Summary, and summary language.
The Transcript view contains timestamped spoken text. Its actions include Copy Transcript, conditional Speakers, audio playback when audio is available, and Retranscribe.
The summary follows the structure of the selected Summary Template.
Meeting-wide top controls
These controls apply to the meeting rather than to one content tab.

| Search & Replace | Opens search tools for the current meeting content. |
| Export | Opens the export menu; use Export As to choose an output format. |
| Open Folder | Opens the meeting's folder on disk. |
| Preferences | Opens the separate meeting preferences view. |
Context actions
The action controller changes with the content you are viewing.
AI Summary actions
- Copy the current summary.
- Open AI Provider settings.
- Generate Summary when a summary does not exist, or Re-generate Summary when it does.
- Choose the summary language.
Transcript actions
- Copy Transcript.
- Play and seek through audio when the meeting has audio available.
- Use Retranscribe to process the meeting again. See Retranscription.
- Use Speakers when speaker-identification results are available.
Speakers (Beta)
The Speakers action appears after Meetily has speaker-identification results for the meeting. Meetings created before this feature, or processed while Speaker Diarization was off, may not show it. Enable Speaker Diarization before processing, or retranscribe the meeting with it enabled.
Preferences
Preferences is a separate sliders control and view, not a third content tab. It contains:
- Templates, for choosing the summary structure.
- Summary Model, for choosing the model used to generate summaries.
Transcription settings remain under Settings > Transcription. See Summary providers for summary-provider setup.
Switching views
Entering Preferences closes active Search & Replace and Export controls. Switching between AI Summary and Transcript clears the active search state.
Common questions
Select a meeting in the sidebar. Its workspace opens in the main content area.
When a summary already exists, use Re-generate Summary to create a new one.
Use Search & Replace to update transcript text, then generate or re-generate the summary.
It opens the meeting's data folder on your computer.
